Glycel

Glycel is a powerful, wide-ranging herbicide that acts systemically, and it doesn't discriminate between different types of weeds that have already emerged. It is highly efficient at managing all sorts of weeds, such as annuals, perennials, grassy plants, broadleaf weeds, and even sedges.

Glyphosate 41% SL is an herbicide with a specific mode of action. When applied, it is primarily absorbed by plants through their leaves and soft stalk tissue. It then moves systematically throughout the plant and interferes with crucial enzyme systems that are essential for amino acid metabolism, specifically the shikimic acid pathway, which is vital for plant growth. Over the course of several days to weeks, this pathway deteriorates due to the presence of Glyphosate, and since the chemical is distributed throughout the plant, no part of the plant can survive this process.

This herbicide is particularly effective for controlling weeds in crops such as tea and non-cropped areas. It has proven to be successful in managing a variety of weeds, including Arundinella bengalensis, Axonopus compressus, Cynodon dactylon, Imperata cylindrical, Kalm grass, Paspalum scrobiculatum, Polygonum perfoliatum, Soghum helepense, as well as other dicot and monocot weeds in general.

The recommended dosage for Glyphosate 41% SL is 2-3 liters per hectare.
